Mission of “Se-Dici-Curatori”



The group of curators proposing an event at “Teatro Biblioteca Quarticciolo” met during the Masters program for Museum, Contemporary Art Events, and Theatrical Events Curator, offered by the European Institute of Design (Rome, Italy) coordinated by Viviana Gravano. The group consists of sixteen individuals with different experiences and unique backgrounds who interact to create multidisciplinary artistic events using elements of various expressive languages and performance types. Their goal is to promote an interaction between artists, institutions, and social reality. Ultimately, they aim to increase the public’s interests towards contemporary arts by encouraging direct participation.


Misión

El grupo de curadores que quiere proponer un evento al Teatro‑Biblioteca Quarticciolo se ha formado en el curso del Máster de Curadòr Museàl, Eventos de Artes Contemporáneas y del Espectáculo del Instituto Europeo de Diseño (IED) de Roma, coordinado por Viviana Gravano. Dieciséis individualidades provenientes de experiencias y trayectorias diferentes se cruzan, aportando cada uno sus particularidades para realizar eventos artísticos transversales orientados hacia una pluralidad de lenguajes expresivos y prácticas representativas; operadores culturales, que estimulan intermediaciones, favoreciendo la conexión de los artistas, las instituciones y la trama social. Un grupo que aspira a producir una sensibilización hacia las artes contemporáneas, individuando en la participación el instrumento principal.


MISSION

Le groupe Curatorial s’est formé dans le Master Curateur de Musées et d'Événements d'Art contemporaine et des arts du spectacle de l’IED – Institut Européen de Design de Rome, coordonné par Viviana Gravano. Seize personnes qui proviennent d'expériences et de parcours différents se croisant, en apportant à chacun sa propre particularité, pour réaliser des événements artistiques transversaux, orienté vers une pluralité de langages expressifs et de pratiques performatives. Opérateurs culturels qui stimulent des médiations, opérant une connexion entre artistes, institutions et tissu sociale. Un groupe qui a l'intention de produire une sensibilisation vers les arts contemporains, individualisant dans la participation son instrument fondamental.

Η ομάδα των εικαστικών επιμελητών που επιδιώκει να κάνει την παρουσίαση στη θέατρο-βιβλιοθήκη Quarticciolo, δημιουργήθηκε στα πλαίσια του μαστερ «επιμέλεια μουσείων και μοντέρνων εικαστικών γεγονότων, τέχνες του θεάματος» του IED – Ευρωπαϊκό Ίδρυμα του Desing στη Ρώμη- με συντονιστή τη Viviana Gravano.Δεκαέξι προσωπικότητες προερχόμενες από διαφορετικούς σταθμούς κ εμπειρίες διασταυρώνονται , προσκομίζοντας ο καθένας τι δικιά του ιδιαιτερότητα , για την πραγματοποίηση καλλιτεχνικών event κατευθυνόμενα προς μια πληθώρα εκφραστικών μέσων και πρακτικών. Πολιτιστικοί λειτουργοί σε μια προσπάθεια επαναπροσδιορισμού των σχέσεων ανάμεσα σε καλλιτέχνες, θεσμούς κ κοινωνικό σύνολο. Μια ομάδα που σαν στόχο της έχει να προκαλέσει την ευαισθητοποίηση προς τις μοντέρνες τέχνες ,χρησιμοποιώντας ως πρωταρχικό μέσο την ίδια την συμμετοχή.

Teatro Biblioteca Quarticciolo

Concept

Un teatro, una biblioteca, un quartiere, una città, un evento che è contaminazione di mondi distinti. Al Quarticciolo di Roma la parola è arte, il punto d’incontro di realtà diverse, un momento di memoria collettiva ricostruito sulla fugacità dei ricordi di chi abita un quartiere ormai di “ex-periferia”. Nel tentativo di raggiungere una complicità tra la storia del luogo e la nuova istituzione del Teatro Biblioteca Quarticciolo, artisti provenienti da differenti esperienze formative esplorano i possibili sensi della relazione fra arte e parola, nell’intento di raggiungere una fusione asimmetrica che mantenga intatte e riconoscibili le diversità del territorio. Parola, arte e teatro si relazionano per raggiungere una partecipazione collettiva ed instaurare un dialogo tra bambini, adolescenti, giovani e adulti, generando un momento che scandisca la ritmicità delle dissonanze sociali e culturali tra le persone e i luoghi. Un appuntamento che vuole essere intreccio tra coscienze: fruizione attiva di una realtà così vicina e ancora non molto conosciuta. La multidisciplinarietà artistica della parola agisce favorendo un’osmosi culturale, dando forma a flussi di saperi che, intrecciandosi, circolano nella città in un continuo movimento da e verso il teatro-biblioteca. Si tratta quindi di attivare una maglia di comunicazione che assorba una realtà abitativa e sociale tramite collegamenti artistico-culturali, innescando dispositivi di aggregazione attorno al centro polifunzionale, nucleo di richiamo per un incontro nel quale l’eterogeneo resti sempre vivo e ben visibile.

A theatre, a library, a neighbourhood, a city – an event that wants to bring together different worlds. In Quarticciolo, Rome, the language is art; it is a point of contact for different realities, a moment of collective recollection that rises from the ephemeral memories of those who live in this once suburban neighbourhood. Artists coming out of different formative experiences seek connections between local history and the new institution of “Teatro Biblioteca Quarticciolo”. With this in mind, they explore the possible meanings of the ties between art and language, attempting to create an asymmetrical fusion while maintaining the integrity of this diverse community. Language, art, and theatre relate with one another in the attempt to establish both a dialogue between, and the collective involvement of, children, teenagers and adults, going beyond the differences dictated by social and cultural restrains. An event, which attempts to interlace consciences, and results in the learning experience of a reality that is close but yet unknown. The multidisciplinary and artistic nature of the language promotes cultural osmosis by creating fluxes of knowledge that circulate through the city with a continuous movement out from and into the theatre-library. The purpose is to generate, through artistic and cultural connections, a communication network that grows around the multifunctional centre, which then becomes a meeting point where the diversity will always remain alive and visible.

Ein Theater, eine Bibliothek, ein Stadtviertel, eine Stadt, eine Veranstaltung, die eine Kontaminierung unterschiedlicher Welten ist. Im Stadtviertel „Quarticciolo“ in Rom wird das Wort zur Kunst, es wird zum Treffpunkt unterschiedlicher Wirklichkeiten, zu einem Moment der allgemeinen Erinnerung, der von der Vergänglichkeit der Erinnerungen rekonstruiert ist, von den Bewohnern eines Viertels von Ex-Stadtrand. Um eine Verbindung zwischen der Geschichte des Stadtviertels Roms und der neuen Institution des Theaters Bibliothek „Quarticciolo“ zu erreichen, suchen Künstler aus unterschiedlichen Erfahrungen nach dem Verhältnis zwischen Kunst und Wort. Damit wollen sie eine asymmetrische Mischung erreichen, die aber die Vielfalt des Territoriums unbeschädigt und erkennbar macht. Es handelt sich um ein Verhältnis zwischen Wort, Kunst und Theater, das alle involvieren möchte. Man möchte einen Dialog zwischen Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsenen schaffen, die die soziale und kulturelle Dissonanz zwischen den Leuten und den Orten hervorhebt. Es ist eine Veranstaltung, die eine Verwicklung der Bewusstsein sein will und auf eine aktive Nutzung einer Realität zielt, die so nah aber gleichzeitig immer noch nicht so bekannt ist. Die künstlerische Multidiziplinaritaet des Wortes wirkt indem sie eine kulturelle Osmose fördert und in der Stadt eine Bewegung von und zur Theater-Bibliothek schafft. Man möchte ein Netz Verbindungen aktivieren, das die Leute zum diesem Stadtteil zielt, damit das Heterogen immer lebendig und sichtbar bleibt.

Un teatro, una biblioteca, un barrio, una ciudad; un evento que es una contaminación de mundos distintos. En el Quarticciolo de Roma la palabra es arte, punto de encuentro de diferentes realidades, instante de memoria colectiva reconstruido con los fugaces recuerdos de los que habitan en un barrio que dejó de ser de periferia. En el intento de obtener una complicidad entre la historia del lugar y la nueva institución del Teatro‑Biblioteca Quarticciolo, artistas originarios de diferentes experiencias formativas exploran los posibles sentidos de la relación entre arte y palabra, con la intención de alcanzar una fusión asimétrica que mantenga las diferencias del lugar íntegras y reconocibles. Palabra, arte y teatro se relacionan para alcanzar una participación colectiva e instaurar un diálogo entre niños, adolescentes, jóvenes y adultos, generando un momento que evidencie el ritmo de las discordancias sociales y culturales entre las personas y los lugares. Un encuentro que quiere ser un trenzado de conciencias: regocijo activo de una realidad tan próxima pero todavía poco conocida. La variedad de expresiones artísticas de la palabra ejerce una osmosis cultural, dando forma a flujos de sabidurías que se entrelazan y circulan en la ciudad en un continuo movimiento desde y hacia el teatro-biblioteca. Se entiende, entonces, activar una malla de comunicación que absorba una realidad habitacional y social por medio de conexiones artísticos-culturales, activando mecanismos de agregación alrededor del centro poli funcional, núcleo de convocación para un encuentro en el cual lo heterogéneo pueda permanecer siempre vivo y muy visible. 

Un théâtre, une bibliothèque, un quartier, une ville, un événement qui est contamination de mondes separés. Au Quarticciolo de Rome le mot est art, le point de rencontre de différentes réalités, un moment de mémoire collective reconstitué sur la nature passagère des mémoires de ceux qui habitent un quartier  désormais d’ "ex-banlieue. Dans l’essai d'atteindre une complicité entre l'histoire du lieu et la nouvelle institution du Théâtre Bibliothèque Quarticciolo, artistes, qui proviennent de différentes expériences formatives, explorent les possibiles sens de la relation entre art et mot, dans l'intention d'atteindre une fusion asymétrique qui maintient intacte et reconnaissable les différences du territoire. Mot, art et théâtre sont en relation pour rejoindre une participation collective et établir un dialogue entre enfants, adolescents, jeunes et adultes, provoquant un moment qui articule le rythme des dissonances sociales et culturelles entre les gens et les lieux. Un rendez-vous qui veut être un entrelacement entre les consciences: jouissance active d'une  réalité proche mais encore pas bien connue. La multidisciplinarité artistique du mot agit en favorisant une osmose culturelle, donnant forme à des flux de pensées, qui circulent dans la ville en un mouvement continu du et vers le théâtre-bibliothèque. Il s’agit donc d’activer une maille de communication qui absorbe une réalité habitative et sociale à travers les connexions artistiques-culturelles, en créant des dispositifs d'agrégation autour du centre polyfonctionnel, noyau d'appel pour une rencontre dans le quel l’hétérogene soit toujours vive et bien visible.
